My coach has a set of notecards with distances on them and another with times. To begin our workout, we choose a distance to run. Once we’re done with that, we choose a rest time and then another distance until we’ve done them all.

I’m not kidding when I say it’s my favorite work-out. It turns running into a game, like poker (even if it is more like Russian Roulette).
